How To Not Get Nervous During A Presentation?
I start shaking and I always lose my breath. I would occasionally say ‘Um’ just to catch my breath and all, and I have to do a presentation tomorrow with an assigned partner (i’m still ultra nervous!). When i get in front of a crowd, I don’t “imagine them in their underwear” because I can’t! I can’t think, unless if I’m worrying about my presentation. How can I calm my nerves? What method do you use to be confident?
And I’m sorry that this is in a different category, I just don’t know what category this is.
2 shots of vodkha jst before the presentation would help you……..
First , speak about something you know well. Learn your presentation and practice it over and over. Practice in front of the mirror. Practice in front of your friends/family. Knowing your material will allow you to be more relaxed.
Next when you get to the presentation remind yourself that no one knows more than you do about the subject you are about to speak on.
Also think about the fact that your are passing on interesting information to your audience. Find a few friendly faces in the crowd and use them as your audience.
Think of all the people who have had to make a presentation ever and you will start to see that you are joining a large number of people. You can do it. It just takes practice and taking the leap. Good Luck
Well, first of all relax. If you are not relaxed, you will get nervous. Be confident in your presentation, practice it over and over, if you don’t know what your going to say, you’ll look pretty funny just standing there… If you can get an audience, even if its just your parents, even your family pet practice with them, it will help simulate what you will be doing when you get in front of people. Try not to focus on all the people looking at you, just give the presentation as if they were not there. Hope I helped.
Just remember you will never see those kids ever again in your life, and if you do end up seeing them, then I bet they wont remember you, and if they do they are really weird,
