How To I Get Rid Of Acne?

I’ve had a mild acne for more than a year, but now it’s spreading down to my cheeks and getting really bad. I’ve tried everything from washing my face morning and at night, face wash and even an acne treatment but it still is not going away. What do I do?

    Hello
There are some great ways that can help you to get rid of your acne.
check these helpful methods that helped me to treat my acne:
    Water
Drink plenty of water every day. Try drinking at least two liters of still mineral water. If the skin becomes dehydrated, dead skin cells are not effectively shed, which can lead to blocked pores and further acne.
    Sunshine and fresh air
Sunshine stimulates the creation of vitamin D in our body – an important vitamin for healthy skin. A little bit of fresh air and sunshine every day will also reduce the stress and increase oxygen to your skin. Even when it’s overcast, the sun’s rays reach us, so it’s very good to take a light walk outside every day.
Reduce the intake of sugar and refined carbohydrates
New research pointing the finger at diet – eating refined carbohydrates (white bread, pasta, rice, flour etc) and sugar leads to a surge in insulin and an insulin-like growth factor called IGF-1. This in turn leads to an excess of male hormones, which encourage the skin to excrete large amounts of sebum. This grease-like substance encourages the growth of bacteria responsible for acne.
Refined carbs/sugar = more insulin = more hormones = more sebum (oil) = more bacteria = more acne
    The bed sheets
Keep your bed sheets clean. Wash your pillow case on a regular schedule to reduce the transfer of the natural body oils.
    Wash your face
Wash your face just one time a day. Don’t over wash , because that will cause only more production of oil on your skin. you can also use very gentle cleansers for normal skin that don’t dehydrate the skin and wash twice a day.
Anyhow, don’t go out and buy those “acne free in one night” products that you can find anywhere online, they just don’t work and you will spend your money for nothing.
Why not? Well, because it takes time to cure acne and you will need at least one week to see any noticeable results. There is absolutely no way to get rid of your acne in only one day.
If you really want to cure your acne there are two recommended methods that should combined together (if you can afford it) for best results.
Firstly and more important in my opinion, you must learn how you should fix the internal problem that’s causing your acne, not just masking the symptoms or getting relief.
There are only few decent Ebooks and acne cure programs that can teach you exactly how to treat your acne from the inside.
Where medicine has failed them the authors have done their own research and found a way to overcome acne. In their guides they share their great knowledge with other acne sufferers. Anyhow, be very careful because many of them are pure crap with little value.
You can find honest and comprehensive review about the best programs in the market today in this helpful article:http://www.squidoo.com/Best-Acne-Ebooks
The second thing that you need to do is to get good acne skin product that will be suitable for your skin.
There are hundreds of acne skin care products available in the market right now and it’s not easy to choose the product that will give you the best results.
When choosing your product make sure to check that you get at least 2 months full guarantee. Some of the big names in the industry are:
ClearPores, Acuzine, Acnezine, Proactiv, Vilante and some others.

I think different treatments work for different types of acne severity. I’ve struggled with it for years and have done all sorts of treatments… a lot of the prescription stuff like retin A and a lot of the over the counter stuff like neutrogena face washes, pro active, skin ID, etc. Over the years I’ve found that unless you have a severe problem with it that has potential of permanent skin damage, and over the counter face scrub works best. There are pretty much two kinds: one with salycilic acid and one with benzoyl peroxide. I have never had much luck with the benzoyl peroxide but the salycilic acid is great. The salycilic acid removes the dead skin cells and helps build new ones, so it helps with getting rid of the acne you currently have.
The Pro Active and Skin ID stuff is good but I think it’s too expensive. Right now I’m using Clearisil Deep Cleansing Scrub and it works really well. It’s got those little beads in it which helps exfoliate and what not. It feels good, smells decent, my skin is soft, and my acne is going away, so I think I’ll stick with it for awhile.
It will take a few weeks before it starts to get really better, but that’s true will all acne medicine and face washes. I found it works best to wash your face in the morning and at night with the deep cleansing scrub, and 1 – 2 times during the day you can use the alcohol pads to clean up your face. Washing your face too much will make it worse. Also popping your zits makes it worse too. If any of them scab over don’t pick off the scabs – they are there to help build new skin cells.
Also if you notice that your face gets oily throughout the day it’s probably a sign that your skin is actually lacking moisture, so it might be worth it to put lotion on your face after you use the face scrub.
    Good Luck!
