Spending Time with Your Spouse Is Really Important
Whenever one has kids it is really difficult for the husband and wife to spend time some time alone. This happens especially whenever a family as a whole goes out for vacations. One does not get even a single minute to spend with each other. It is really important for a couple to spend time with each other. Otherwise conditions would become really worse and differences would mount to that great extent that nothing would be resolved then.
It is really very important to resolve issues and lead a happy married life. Thus one may go for a holiday to spend time with the family. But going to any place for holiday is no solution. One should go to a selected place for a holiday where a couple can get time to spend with each other. But going to a family resort can be a solution. A husband and wife can get a plenty of time to spend with each other. A family resort is a place where there are a lot of fun activities and is quite safe. A person can leave their kids in the resort to play around without any fear. The children are very safe and secure in such places. Thus any husband and wife can spend precious and memorable hours together. There are many optional activities in a resort where children play with other kids in a safe and secure environment.
Such resorts give a person the day to himself. One can have a lot of fun according to one’s wishes. One enjoys the sun to the fullest. The couple can enjoy the breakfast, lunch and dinner together. This is not possible when a person leads his normal professional life. After enjoying a nice breakfast the can go for swimming or can enjoy a sun bath. These make the person really happy and stress free. One may play games like the tennis or badminton.
Such games make a person really lively and active. A person lives a new and really a different life altogether. They may even go for a work out together. These fitness moments would always be cherished. One may go for a Jacuzzi which is considered really very romantic. Then one may go for a gourmet lunch. Sitting in a lounge may be at the poolside & sip umbrella drinks is very romantic and memorable.
After having the lunch one should go for a brief nap and become really fresh and energetic once again. Evening is considered a very romantic time. One may go for massage or may be long drive at this particular point of time. One may even go for dancing or clubbing. Getting high is a good idea at this point of time. Cocktails and mock tails are liked by all.
After a beautiful day one may go for a romantic candle light dinner. Dance on the sea beach along with light music and wine is really a good idea. One may even go for dinner with their kids. One can go for games like sunfish sail or may be kayak or snorkel or scuba dive. Thus spend leisurely time with the family.

Southern Cooking Brings Soul to Food
I was born and raised in the heart of the Deep South. From as far back as I can remember I remember long summer afternoons spent drinking iced tea and shelling peas and butterbeans on my grandmother’s porch. I have moved on from my roots and have made my way into other regions of the world. One thing, however, that has remained constant in my life is my deep and abiding love for southern cooking and cuisine.
I was probably well into my teen years before I realized that tea could be served any other way than loaded with sugar and over ice. It was about that same time that I realized some folks would eat vegetables that hadn’t been soaked in batter, dredged in cornmeal, and deep fat fried. Southern cooking is not for the faint of heart though it can cause many hearts to grow faint. One thing that can be said is that you’ll never find anything else like it on earth.
People in the south learned to make do with little in many instances. Some of the poorest people in America live in the southern part of the country. Of course, you will find that many of these people despite their poverty are also among the most generous. The same can be said of food. It’s the one thing that seems to be in ample supply in most southern homes and very few will turn you away with an empty stomach.
Perhaps it’s the seasonings that are often used when cooking southern food. From the crab boil and gumbo file of Cajun Cuisine to the secret ingredient that almost every southern kitchen contains for their fried chicken recipes (and no one on earth can fry chicken like a born and bred southern grandma). Perhaps it’s the Sunday church dinners where everyone shares a little of what they have with others or the love that goes into preparing these meals that are shared with friends and family. Whatever the case may be, if you ever have the occasion to experience real southern cooking, do not pass it up. You might shave a day off your life, but a good southern fried chicken leg is really living and well worth the sacrifice if you ask me.
Of course it would be remiss to mention southern cooking without bringing up some of the more delicious desserts that seem to be perfection for the south. I mentioned banana pudding above but there are so many more. Pralines are a perfect for those living down around New Orleans as is bread pudding. A little to the east there are grandma’s who have taken their lemon icebox pie recipes to the grave with them so coveted were these delicious deserts and the same holds true for pecan pies as well. We should never forget the flavorful Mississippi Mud cake though, and so many other wonderfully delicious treats that southern cooking has introduced to the world at large.
Favorite vegetables in the heart of the south as I mentioned above included peas and butterbeans, snap beans, corn, summer squash (after all, it’s summer all year in the south), and okra (fried or boiled in many southern kitchens). Not all vegetables were deep fried though few were off limits. I remember eating my share of fried okra, fried squash, and yes, fried green tomatoes. Life was good back when calories weren’t counted and no one really worried about clogging arteries. While I wouldn’t make these a daily dish in any household, I certainly would recommend trying them out if you ever find the opportunity.
Another great thing about southern cooking is the wonderful fried seafood that seems to abound. From fried fish (almost any variety works well when it’s southern fried) to fried oysters, seafood just seems to taste so much better in the south. If you are hoping to learn some of the southern cooking and cuisine you will most likely need to order your spices and have them shipped unless your grocery store has a rather extensive ‘exotic’ foods selection. You can sometimes find great southern seasonings on the International food aisles in grocery stores as well. If you want to really treat your family to an outstanding meal, you should really try southern cooking for the night.
Cut Out the Time Waste
The true measure of success may be how much time you spend doing exactly what you want. Never mind the money, if you already have enough. How much of your time is spent doing that which either aggravates you or wastes your time? Even the very rich can find themselves caught up in stressful situations that cry out for a solution. Most of the time, eliminating them altogether is the best strategy.
The problem is one of habits. If you’ve always done things a certain way, you may be creating a problem that can be solved by a change in thinking, followed by a change in acting. Are you checking your email more than 5 times a day? More than 50? Why? Consider checking email twice a day, at the most. If you warn people that you only check email twice a day, you may find that those who depend on you to respond immediately change how they behave towards you.
Another consideration is negative influences. You may have a majority of customers that are a pleasure to deal with, and a few that are nasty, negative and chew up most of your time. Consider firing the troublemakers. That will make room for more good customers and make sure your attitude isn’t negatively affected by dealing with people who delight in making you miserable.
Cut yourself off from the “news”. Television and newspapers seldom serve up news that is actionable by you. When was the last time a public official or government agency contacted you regarding your take on the latest news bulletin? For that matter, when was the last time you missed something important in life that you didn’t hear about from a friend or neighbor? If the world is about to blow up, I guarantee you’ll find out about it without resorting to the media. Eliminate daily news briefings. You don’t need the negative influence in your life.
Try outsourcing your chores. If you’ve automated your business so you can spend more time on yard work, housecleaning or maintenance, stop and think! How much will it cost you to pay someone to mop your floors, mow your lawn and clean your rain gutters? Unless you are a seasoned professional at such labor, you’ll probably get a better result than if you keep doing it yourself. Even if you are a seasoned professional at such labor, isn’t the reason you got into IM precisely to free yourself from daily drudgery?
Learn how to shut your mind tightly against negative thinking and the negative influence of other people. You can begin by practicing meditation, where you stop thinking about your thoughts and simply remain quiet, in your mind. With practice, you’ll find it’s easy and effortless to break a train of thought you do not wish to encourage. You’ll also find it beneficial to cut out all the people who want to dump their problems on you. You don’t have to be nasty or rude. Just stop allowing them to invade your life with the things that they, themselves, are unwilling to deal with. It is not your duty to hear other people whine about their life.
There are troubles and duties we all must deal with. I’m not suggesting you drop your responsibilities and slack off on what you know you must do. Just take the time to question all of your assumptions regarding duty and responsibility. Figure out how much of your life is spent doing things that you really don’t have to be doing. Get rid of all the old, bad habits that cause unnecessary aggravation and eliminate them from your life.

How Do I Transition From Co-sleeping To Crib?
My 5 month will only stay asleep for the entire night in my arms. The initial attempt to put him in his crib around 10pm works out fine but he’s awake about an hour later.
So, I then rock him and he falls asleep easily, however the minute I put him in his crib he wakes up. After a few attemps, I give up and bring him to bed with me..
Another thing that I’m having a hard time with is that when he’s in his crib I still can’t sleep. I keep worrying that he’ll suffocate under his blankets, or somehow the cats will pry open the door and decide to cuddle with him.
So I kind of have to “wean” myself from him too.
Because I can’t sleep without him. But I also know that he needs to be independent and sleep in his crib.
Another thing is is that he only falls asleeps with motion.. I always have to rock or nurse him to sleep. How can I get him to just fall asleep? Is he too young still?
