Can Amitriptyline Be Used For Anger Management Or Stress?

I know it’s a tricyclic antidepressant drug, but can it be used for anger management and or stress?

    It is an antidepressant, but has also been used for chronic pain, such as in some cancer patients. I’ve taken it, and it works like a sleeping pill for me. It may calm you down, but it’s not a drug that is going to do much for anger issues and stress. Do a websearch on anger management and on stress, and see what others have to say has helped them. If it’s bad, see a doctor right away for a professional diagnosis.

    I’m not sure but I know it can be used as a pain killer if you have a lower dosage (10/25mg) because I use them for IBS.
