2011 Fly-for-Tots Charity Fly-in Slideshow
The 2011 RDRC Fly-for-Tots Charity Fly-in may have encountered rain, cold and windy weather conditions, but the hearts of radio controlled aircraft pilots and those die-hard spectators were warm and cozy. The RDRC R/C club raised over $22,000. in support of Victory Junction Children’s camp. This fundraising event has become an annual RC event in North Carolina that draws crowds from near and far. Where else can one see flying lawnmowers, flying leaf blowers, flying Mario Brothers and what looks to be a flying human body? RC pilot Mike Winstead captured a couple of hundred photos at the event. They can be seen at RCRodeo.com along with slideshows of other North Carolina events and the Joe Nall RC event in Woodruff, South Carolina.
